The challenge
- Tens of thousands of parts that buyers search by part number, not by name
- Several sellers who each need their own store, listings and payouts
- Stock that also sells on eBay, so both shops have to stay in step
We rebuilt a Kent car-parts business into a fast WooCommerce marketplace where several sellers list genuine OEM parts, buyers find them by part number, and every payment is split between sellers automatically. Then we kept growing it, every month.

Mechanics and drivers search for the number printed on the part. Our search plugin matches the SKU, the manufacturer part number and the OEM reference, so typing a number like K8D2-13E005-BC finds the right part in one go. Buyers can also search by make and model.

Independent parts sellers apply to join, and each one is approved by hand before they can sell. Every seller gets a verified store page with their location, delivery promise, returns terms and live parts count, and the marketplace keeps track of which seller owns every product.

Each product page shows who sells it. At checkout, every card, wallet and Klarna payment is split through Stripe Connect: the seller is paid directly and the marketplace commission is kept automatically, with no manual payouts at the end of the month.

Buyers who do not know the part number can start from their car. Each of the 54 makes has its own page with the parts in stock, the models and years covered and a search limited to that make, so a Land Rover owner sees only Land Rover parts.

Buyers have 30 days to return a part. The returns portal lets them start a return with just their order number and email, so nobody has to create an account or send an email to get help.
The phone layout gets the same care as the desktop one: app-style navigation, search within thumb reach and product pages that work with one hand.

Every product page is set up to be found by its part number and the vehicle it fits, with clean category pages and product structured data. The chart shows daily Google impressions as a 7-day average, from Search Console.
